The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

Venice in Singapore

One of the cool features of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands shopping centre in Singapore was this canal replica running through the middle of the shopping centre. You could even ride on the boats! I believe the design of this shopping centre is one of the most stunning I’ve seen. In case you missed…

ArtScience Museum

I’ve been making a great effort to stay on top of my posts here on the blog. I do aim to post at least 3 times a week, and I know I can do it if I put my mind into it. Quite often what slows me down is the post-processing of the photos. I…

Office Building Singapore

Office Front in Singapore

Amongst the many things that I liked about Singapore, one of those is the modern city architecture. Everywhere I looked was a great photo opportunity. I can’t remember what building this was at, but it had this great bamboo garden at the front on either side of the entrance. The entrance was reasonably long, and…

Esplanade Bridge

Here is a different one. During the shooting of the Esplanade Bridge, my intention was to process the photo the same way as most of my other ones. However, I encountered a small problem which ruined the image in colour. Just before I gave up on the image, I decided to open up one of…

Singapore Skyline

I took this photo at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel Sky Park. I was on the 57th floor, which there is very limited space for non-hotel guests, but the 56th floor is much larger. I was only here as I got off on the wrong floor haha. Either way, tripods weren’t allowed anywhere, so I…

Olympic Walk

The Olympic Walk at Marina Bay in Singapore was launched in 2012 for the inauguration of the Youth Olympic Games. Even though it looks solid, the Olympic sign apparently is so light that leaning on it will bend it.
